Remember, when in doubt as to which application fits your business, just ask us!

Customers purchasing plant or plant products from a person or company they are doing business with should ask if they have one of the licenses listed below (compliant with Kentucky state law - KRS 249). Ask for proof of the license or contact Joe Collins before making any transaction(s).

LICENSE APPLICATION FORMS

Annual Nursery and Nursery Dealer License Fee and License Period:

Class A and Class B Nurseries includes but are not limited to: individuals, nurseries, garden centers, landscapers, and landscape contractors (License Period: July 1 - June 30).

Class A and Class B Nursery Dealers includes but are not limited to: individuals, nurseries, garden centers, retail stores, landscapers, and landscape contractors (License Period: January 1 - December 31).

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept credit card payments at this time. A check will need to be mailed with the application.

If you or your business are actively growing nursery stock (field or container production).

$40/location + $1.50/acre in production

Class A Nursery Form (Fillable PDF)

If you or your business does NOT grow nursery stock, but overwinters a portion of nursery stock.

$40/location

Class B Nursery Form (Fillable PDF)

If you or your business does NOT grow or overwinter your nursery stock but whose primary business involves the sale or planting of nursery stock.

Class A Nursery Dealer Form (Fillable PDF)

If you or your business whose primary sales are NOT the sale of nursery stock.

$25/location
